Dan grew up in central Ohio, working in various horse barns and participating in 4-H activities. After high school, he enlisted in the Ohio Army National Guard to help pay for his degree from The Ohio State University. His service in the Ohio Army National Guard turned into a 33-year career, culminating in his retirement as the Assistant Adjutant General – Army.

Dan’s lifelong connection to horses and his passion for supporting veterans made Stockhands a natural fit. He is proud to continue serving others as part of the Stockhands team.
