Emily has been volunteering at Stockhands Horses for Healing for seven years. She has shown in Western pleasure and horsemanship, as well as English equitation. Emily is currently attending the University of Kentucky, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Equine Science and Management. She hopes to pursue a career in Equine-Assisted Therapeutic Riding to help make a difference in people's lives, just as Stockhands did for her.

When Emily is not at Stockhands, she volunteers at Hooves of Hope in Lancaster, Kentucky, and is working toward becoming a PATH-certified instructor.
